Well Loved

Well Loved was a lit sign installed on the clock tower of Victoria Baths.

Created using simple found materials and rope light, the sign was conceived as a signal to passersby that there was community activity underway within to save the building, which at that time was boarded up and condemned.

This work was meant to last for a couple of weeks, but in fact remained in place and operating for the next 5 years, until the renovation of the exterior of the building was completed in 2008. The sign was so loved that the Friends still keep it in the building - much battered and with its lights dimmed considerably
