Last weekend I opened my studio as part of the exhibition and open studios at Pool Arts, part of #Manifestarts19.
I showed my watercolour series The End Of Oil (former working title Use It Up); the Carl Peploe archive project and still photos from Another Adele projects. Adele also performed a reading from artist Eddie Price’s meditation on Resilience, taken from a text message series of correspondence with me.
The open was a great success for all the artists taking part with some sales and a beautiful cake made by Roger H celebrating 20 years of Pool Arts. I had some prints made of some of my paintings one of which went in the raffle. Being part of the open studios was a good marker for me, taking stock of recent progress and getting some feedback. Great to see friends old and new - including mates from Falmouth School of Art on the Sunday - that was priceless.
